You are invited to attend WB Ralph J. Creager's 70 year service award presentation to be held at his house in Liberty Center, Ohio.  Daughter Julie asked that we fill the house with Brothers to wish our elder statesman a hearty congratulations for a job well done.  Past Grand Master MWB Robert Rill, Jr. will present the award.

Please meet at the Lodge in Liberty Center at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 24, and we will car-pool to Ralph's house at 6:30 p.m.

You are invited back to the Lodge afterward for a brief stated meeting and continuance of our OPEN annual awards presentation. Cake and ice cream will be served.

Association Meeting set for November 5

Please be advised that the annual meeting of the Fifth Masonic District Association will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Defiance Masonic Temple.  All "Blue Lodge" members in good standing are "Association" members and are encouraged to attend.  Association officers will be elected for the coming year. Please announce this date at your future Lodge meetings and include the date in any member updates you may send.

100 Mason Meeting at Napoleon Lodge

Just a quick reminder of Our 2nd Annual Napoleon Lodge 100 Mason Meeting, Which will include a visit from our Grand Master, Robert C. Rill Jr.
 
When: September 20th, 2016, 6:00 pm
Where: Napoleon # 256, Glenwood & Welsted Ave. Napoleon, Ohio
What's going On: When can you remember 100 Masons at a stated meeting? Our goal is to have, (at least), 100 Masons at our Stated meeting for a Bean Soup & cornbread dinner at 6:00 pm and an Entered Apprentice Degree at 7:30 pm. A commemorative gift will be given to all who attend and also a very special gift to the newest Entered Apprentice and the Mason with the most (seniority)!
 
Come Join us for a Historic Evening in Masonry!
We came close last year, 83 Masons present! We hope to make the 100 mark this year.

Ohio and Michigan Grand Lodge Celebration Day

Please mark your calendars for Saturday September 17, 2016, for the joint Grand Lodge of Ohio and Grand Lodge of Michigan Celebration Day.  This will take place in the Historic Detroit Masonic Temple.  The Grand Lodge of Michigan will be portraying the Entered Apprentice degree and your Ohio Grand Lodge Officers will be presenting the Fellowcraft degree.  Tours of the building and banquet will follow the degree work, and the ladies are invited.  More information to come!

Passing of Brother Robert Young

Masonic Brothers,
 
Robert R Young, a member of Liberty Center Masonic Lodge, passed away on Thursday, August 11.  Brother Young would have received his 60 year award this year after the Grand Lodge 
Communication.  
 
The family has requested a Masonic service, which will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 14 at the Wright-Hanneman-Habbegger Funeral Home in Liberty Center.
 
If you can attend this service, it will be greatly appreciated.
