Delaware Lodge 46 in Muncie, IN will be hosting the Oklahoma Masonic Indian Degree Team for a Master Mason Degree on August 2. The 5th district is exploring the option of renting a bus for the event. Initial estimates are about $50 per person for the bus trip. The Dinner and Degree combined are another $50. This is a rare opportunity to see this unique degree. At the moment, we are trying to determine if there is interest in the brothers of the 5th rent a bus for the occasion. More information on the event can be found here: https://www.delawarelodge46.com/special-events We need to have an idea of the number of brothers wanting to travel by June so we know if we need to reserve the tour bus. We need 50 to make the $50 fee per person work. If you have not done so already, RSVP that you are interested in participating in the bus trip to Muncie here: https://forms.gle/st4iqzpp4FyZDPH7A
To answer some questions:
1. We are not taking payments yet for the bus trip. We will let you know when we are ready for that.

Napoleon Lodge #256 created a festive setting Friday evening with their traditional jiggs dinner prior to their Annual Inspection. The aroma of the corned beef and cabbage filled the temple adding to the feel of the impending St Patrick's Day holiday. WM Mark French had his Officers in fine form as they exemplified the Entered Apprentice degree. 100 year old World War II Veteran and 5th District Brother Jim Winnie was presented west of the altar by his Sons where RWB Martin Lawrence had the great privilege to give him Grand Honors. The snow did not keep Brothers from traveling to Defiance for Sherwood Lodge's inspection. Including Sherwood Lodge Brothers, there were 59 Masons in attendance (second only to Wauseon Lodge's total of 60 Masons). Brother Lumbreezer received a very fine Master Mason Degree. Fulton Lodge ran away with the Traveling Trophy, taking the lead, though not a commanding lead. The next inspection will be for Napoleon Lodge and the EA Degree this friday at 7:00pm.
